About the report
Youth Feed Foundation began in 2020, when the nationwide lockdown left millions of families without work or food. What started as a volunteer movement mobilised over ₹5.5 crore, served nearly 80 lakh meals and supported more than 4.88 lakh people across India during the pandemic years.
That crisis revealed a deeper, more persistent problem: children of daily wage workers and migrant families face chronic gaps in nutrition that quietly limit their growth, learning and long-term health. The 2024–25 report documents our shift from emergency relief to structured, long-term child nutrition programmes and marks five years of this journey.
