Volunteer Protocol

THIS RELIEF OPERATION WAS UNLIKE ANY WITNESSED BEFORE. AT YOUTH FEED INDIA UNDER THE STRICT PROTOCOLS SET BY THE SAFA SOCIETY, ALL NGO PARTNERS & VOLUNTEERS WERE REQUIRED TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS WHILE DISTRIBUTING THE RATION KITS TO ENSURE THEIR OWN HEALTH SAFETY.

Volunteer Protocol - Feed India 2020: What We Do
  • Make sure to have zero physical contact with the beneficiaries.

  • The volunteers need to do a recce of the area in advance, a day or a couple of hours before.

  • The distribution to ideally happen in early morning hours around sunrise.

  • NO crowding of beneficiaries around the distribution vehicle as it defeats the purpose.

  • The volunteers are to distribute the packs door to door, even still avoiding any direct contact with beneficiaries. No Handshakes with the beneficiaries.

  • Please ensure item is placed on the ground at door step and then picked up by beneficiary. Drop-Lift policy to be adopted. No hand to hand contact

  • Volunteers need to ensure regular and frequent sanitization.

  • Maximum of 200 packs to be distributed at a time

  • The drive has to engage minimum number of volunteers in a single place (2-4 at max)

  • Volunteers must watch training video and dress as per the video & wear proper gear.
